With deep admiration for Charles and Ray Eames' design legacy, I created a print celebrating the construction of their iconic LA house.
A recent visit to a Bauhaus exhibition in Berlin underscored the importance of simplicity in design, particularly within the Bauhaus movement. While not directly Bauhaus students, the Eameses were heavily influenced by the movements ethos and this is evident in their work.
The Eames House stands as a modern architectural masterpiece, embodying Bauhaus principles further refined through the unique creativity and technical dexterity of the Eames duo. In my print, I abstractly depict its construction, honouring the term "Hausbau." meaning “house construction” Through this piece, I aim to pay homage to both Bauhaus and the Eameses' profound impact on design.

Shipping Details
A3 prints will ship flat in a rigid cardboard envelope, A2 and A1 prints will ship rolled in a cardboard tube. Prints are made to order and are nonrefundable. Damaged prints will be replaced. With all prints allow an extra 1-2 days for despatch.
